Crawford Dress Code for 2009 – 2010 School Year

Slacks/pants/jeans:

·         Must be classic cut, fitted to natural waist line and reach the ankles

·         Must have belt loops and be worn with a belt

·         Can be any color

·         Must not be leather

·         Must not be sweat or warm-up pants

·         Capri pants are allowed

Skirts/Shorts/Skorts/Jumpers/Dresses:

·         Can be any color

·         Must be worn at natural waistline

·         Must have hem AT or BELOW the knee…no slits above the knee.

·         Must not be leather

Shirts:

·         Must be collared polo shirts, turtleneck shirts, or collared button down shirts in any solid color or stripes.

·         All shirts with buttons must be buttoned…only the top button may be unbuttoned.

·         Must be free of words, but may have small logos or emblems no larger than a credit card.

·         No sleeveless shirts, or capped sleeves, or shirts of sheer material.

Optional Wear : Sweatshirts, sweaters, vests, and CMS T-shirts.

·         Must be a solid color or striped

·         Must be worn over collared shirts or turtlenecks

·         May be fleece

·         CMS T- shirts/sweatshirts are the only type of t-shirts/sweatshirts that can be worn over a collared shirt.  Other t-shirts/sweatshirts are not allowed (shirts with wording or pictures, baby-doll style shirts, tank tops, or camisoles are prohibited)

Shoes:

·         Must be worn with socks, footies, or hose

·         Open back clogs may be worn with socks

·         No shower shoes or house shoes

·         Flip Flops and Sandals are allowed

 

 

Jackets, Coats, Hoodies, Backpacks, Purses and Stringbags:

THE FOLLOWING ARE PROHIBITED AT CRAWFORD:

 

PLEASE NOTE: Other non-specified items considered inappropriate by the school administration may be prohibited at any time.

The school administration shall have final discretion in the enforcement and interpretation of the dress code and the authority to relax dress code requirements on given days.
