Seventh grade Wildcat, Abby Gottesman, was named one of ten Semi-finalists for the National USA Today/Office Depot “Dream Up” essay contest!  USA Today will announce the five Finalists next week!

Penny War for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

During the next few weeks, students at LTMS will be collecting spare change and other donations to support The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients program! The Penny War between the teams will last for 3 weeks, February 24th until March 13th. At the end of the 3 week time period, the winning team will receive an Ice Cream Social AND will be able to dress down for a week! Last year we raised $2,511.57 and again this year our goal is $2,500.00! Students can put their donations in the money jars during lunch.

Partents, Teachers, Staff & Students

Please plan to attend our next PTSA meeting on Thursday, February 26 at
6pm in the library.  We will discuss recent accomplishments as well as
upcoming events.  Also, we will have the opportunity to become more
aware of drug use and abuse in middle school students. Sargeant Josh
Yahr will provide a short presentation. I hope to see you there!

It's almost Book Fair time again.  March 23-27, 2015

Can you help us?  Volunteers are needed to help set-up and break-down the Book Fair, as well as, work the cash register during the school day and Family Night.  If you can help, please visit the Sign-Up Genius.  Thank you very much for your support of reading and the LTMS library program.
